Government Documents
Federal, state, and local government information in print and online for all library users.
About the collection
Federal depository resources are available to all library patrons, regardless of library affiliation, disability, age, residency, or other customer status.
A significant number of government documents are now available online. Both print and electronic documents selected by the Michael Schwartz Library and the CSU College of Law Library can be found in DISCOVERY @ CSU. Anyone may view and download electronic government documents directly from catalog records.
We have also created an extensive guide to these publicly available materials. The Government Information Research Guide is a pathfinder to local, state, and national information from all three branches of government, including census resources, statistics, and freely available databases.
For questions about government information, you can reach library staff by chat, email, or phone. You may use the chat options on this page, or contact Government Documents librarian Hannah Pearson at h.pearson@csuohio.edu or 216-687-2485.
You can also explore recommended government databases for additional online sources.
