Can’t find the article or book you need? Don’t give up! Try Interlibrary Loan (ILL): it's free for current CSU students, faculty, and staff.
Interlibrary Loan uses a worldwide network of libraries to locate the exact item you need. An article in PDF format can often be delivered within 48 hours; physical materials take longer. You will be notified via your CSU email account when your request is ready for pickup or available to download. Turnaround time and lending policies vary by institution.

How to make an Interlibrary Loan request
- First, make sure the item is not currently available through DISCOVERY @ CSU .
- Log in to the Interlibrary Loan system.
- Select Article, Book, or Other/Audio/Visual, then enter as much information as you have.
- Click Submit to place your request. You will receive updates at your CSU email address.
