About CPL@ CSU

The CPL@ CSU Popular Reading Collection is a partnership between the Michael Schwartz Library and Cleveland Public Library, intended to bring leisure reading materials to campus and to help students build lasting connections with the public library system.

The CPL@ CSU collection is located in the Library Connection Lounge on the first floor of the Michael Schwartz Library. The collection includes current popular books (fiction and nonfiction), books on CD, foreign language materials, and popular magazines.

Borrowing materials
Since these materials belong to the Cleveland Public Library, they must be checked out with a Cleveland Public Library card at the self-checkout machine near the Lounge. Don't have a CPL card? We're happy to help you sign up for one at the Library Help Desk. CPL@ CSU items circulate for 21 days and can be renewed up to three times. You can renew your materials online through the Cleveland Public Library website using the number on your CPL Library Card.
